Hello to all of our Brothers and Sisters around the world.
Fall is in the air and summer is slowly releasing it's hold. The Lord has blest mightily this summer with safety and good weather. The harvest has begun and it looks like the farmers in southwest Ohio will have their work cut out for them.
The largest employer in our area closed it doors in late August and it is a little down beat in our area. Many around the world have been touched by the down turn in the global economy.
This is the time of the year in the northern hemispere when we look back on our blessing of harvest time and reflect on all God has provided for us. Although it is very easy to fall into the Devil's trap of dwelling on the negatives, let us never forget that we have a very dear Friend who will always be with us no matter the tidings.
The events of the first week in November, 2009 are a wake up call to all that the end is near. Our hearts and prayers go out to the shooting victims in Ft. Hood and in Orlando. These are acts that seem so sensless and yet this is the type of thing our Lord warns us of in the end times. We need to rely on our God always to know what's best for us.
As always, may the Lord keep you safe wherever He leads you in life. If His leadings bring you to southern Ohio, please stop in and say Hi.
